David is Co-founder & CEO of Via and a Founding Member at TBD Angels. As an entrepreneur, he has held operating roles at 6 startups that raised $150m and were acquired for $750m, and is an angel investor in 110 companies. He was previously GM at Hunt Club, CEO of Gradifi (E*TRADE), EIR at Harvard Business School, and Director of the Babson Summer Venture Program.

David played product and marketing roles at 5 other Boston-based startups. He led PayPal Boston, co-founded the Start Tank innovation space, and held roles at Tripadvisor (IAC), m-Qube (Verisign), edocs (Siebel), SnapMyLife (Exclaim Mobility), and Goldman Sachs.

As a leader in the entrepreneurship community, he evangelizes startups, talent, and the Boston tech ecosystem. Awards include The Boston Globe's Tech Power Players 50, Boston Business Journal's Power 50: Most Influential Bostonians, BostInno’s 50 on Fire: Education Winner / Investment Winner / Tech Finalist, Finalist for NEVY Angel of the Year and Startup Boston Community Builder of the Year.

David is Co-founder & CEO of Via, which helps businesses get new customers through relationship AI. He is also active as a Founding Member at TBD Angels. As an entrepreneur, he has held operating roles at 6 startups that raised $150m and were acquired for $750m, and is an angel investor in 110 companies. He was previously GM at Hunt Club, CEO of Gradifi (E*TRADE), Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business School, and Director of the Babson Summer Venture Program.

David has played product and marketing roles at 5 other Boston-based startups. He led PayPal Boston where he co-founded the Start Tank innovation space and Where Angel Fund. Before WHERE’s acquisition by PayPal, he held the role of VP of Product, including strategy and corporate development.

Earlier in his career, on the consumer side, David was Director of New Products at Tripadvisor (IAC) where he launched new features to meet consumers’ needs. He was VP of Marketing & Co-founder of SnapMyLife (Exclaim Mobility) where he led product and marketing efforts. On the enterprise side, he was Director of Product Marketing at m-Qube (Verisign), a pioneer in the mobile content space. He was Senior Product Manager at edocs (Siebel) and was a VP of Technology at Goldman Sachs.

As a leader in the entrepreneurship community, David holds several advisor/board memberships. He is on the board at MITX, an advisor at Harvard Ventures, Nanigans, CO Everywhere, OpenFrame, and Linkwell Health. He has made 100 angel investments in startups such as Crashlytics, clypd, Amino, Logz, Cuseum, CarePort Health, Dashfire, Mogul, Uncharted Play, and through the Where Angel Fund and TBD Angels. David is a frequent speaker on the topics of startups, talent, fundraising, and the Boston tech ecosystem, and he actively mentors students and founders.
